Biography

Dr. Terry Sobler: Dr. Terry Sobler earned his DMD from the School of Dental Medicine of the University of Pittsburgh in 1969. He continued his education at the Division of Advanced Dental Education, School of Dental Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania, where he received his Certificate of Proficiency in Orthodontics in 1971.

One of Dr. Sobler’s highest honors came in 1981 when he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics – a distinction that fewer than 20% of practicing orthodontists have completed, due to the rigorous requirements.

Throughout his career, Dr. Sobler has been an active member of the community, volunteering his time and expertise as a leader and educator. He was a consultant for the Jawonio Cranio- facial Anomalies Center, and REFUAH Health Center. He is a past president of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, past president of the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists (NESO), and a past president of the New Conn. Orthodontic Foundation. Dr. Sobler has also serves as president of the College of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics and Dento-facial Orthopedics.

During recreational time I enjoy theater and travel.
